ICA - NATIONAL UNITY DAY CELEBRATION
To commemorate the Rashtriya Ekta Divas & birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, CGI Lagos organised an # Exhibition on the Life of Iron Man of India # Unity Human Chain and # UNI-TEA. CG administered the Rashtriya Ekta Divas pledge and welcomed members of the community. President ICA and Coordinator SABHA spoke on the role of Sardar Patel in national integration. ICA - MEMBERS MET CONSUL GENERAL
Consul General, Indian High Commission, Lagos, Nigeria Mr Chandermauli Kern invited members of the Indian Cultural Association to discuss on various matters including community welfare, India House, Immigration matters etc. President ICA, Chief Jain on behalf of the Indian community assured of their highest cooperation. Members appreciated CG for convening the meeting.
ICA - GREAT GESTURE TO MR. DODDA GANESH

You must be aware that one Mr. Dodda Ganesh, former member of Indian Cricket Team is around in Nigeria for training the Nigerian players.

President & JS met him at TBS cricket ground when they went to finalise the venue for parking arrangements for 19/11/22.


It shall be a great gesture if we can appreciate him by giving him a Plaque of Appreciation on behalf of the entire Indian Community.

We have therefore decided to use the time of 10 AM when we are meeting captain and crew of Tarkash at Dockyard on 19/9/22 to invite Mr. Dodda Ganesh and appreciate him. (19th September 2022)

ICA - MUSICAL & RECOGNITION EVENING
• Musical evening on the eve of our Independence Day (when India is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav), &

• Recognition Evening– When ICA is recognising all the Samajs in Lagos, Nigeria for keeping the ethnicity of the respective state alive in Nigeria and making people of their state feel home away from home.

ICA takes care of all the national festivals which are celebrated throughout India. Whereas, the samajs, when they celebrate festivals related to their state, brings more joy to the people of that state.

ICA recognises this fact and is therefore, RECOGNISING all the samajs.
ICA - YOGA DAY
On the occasion of the 8th International Day of Yoga an event is being organized on the Sunday, 19th of June,2022 at the lawns of India House. As usual, this event is organized jointly by ICA and IHC. (19th June 2022)

ICA election will be conducted every 2 years to select for the Post of President, Vice-President – 4, General Secretary, Joint Secretary -3, Social Secretary, Joint Social Secretary, Treasurer, Sub-Treasurer, Club Secretary, Joint Club Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Joint Publicity Secretary, Excomm Member – 15. With this there will be Representative Member from Indian High Commission, Prestige Insurance & Indian Language School. This year ICA election was conducted on 12/06/202 at IHC, Lagos on the presence of ICA Patron & Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Second Secretary (Consular).
